23-01-2012 : Welcome 2012 - Important Dates. 1) All games including Minis for the second half of the season start on Friday 3 Feb and Sunday 5 Feb. All draws are available online. 2) New players may be added to teams up to and including the first weekend back. Form and payment for such players may be handed in to Venue Managers BEFORE that game. Please note that no further additions to teams will be permitted after this weekend. 3) All players will be presented with their participation trophy on the weekend Friday 2 March and Sunday 4 March, immediately after the game. No trophies will be given out during the finals weekend, so please make sure your team collects their trophies at the correct time. Players who are absent will have their trophies given to the team manager or coach. 4) All semis and finals will be on the weekend Friday 9 March and Sunday 11 March at the NETBALL CENTRE only. All semis and finals times are already at the end of all draws online for each age group and division. Game times will not be adjusted - teams who cannot play should inform us asap and the next available team in that competition will be given the opportunity to participate. The Venue Managers have completed team lists for all registered players for each team if anyone needs to check. Please note that all Finals series participants are required to be in full team uniform - same shirts, shorts and socks for the whole team. 2-12-2011 : Wheels, Unaccompanied children and Damage Skateboards, scooters, bikes, skates, wheeled shoes, etc are not permitted into the venues. All such items should be left on the foyer if they are brought to the venue - but ideally should be left at home or in the car. We are not a babysitting service for unaccompanied minors. Anyone under 18, whether they are a player or a spectator, should be in the care of a responsible adult. Any damage to any part of the venue or surrounds (including vehicles) - whether accidental or deliberate - should be immediately reported to the venue managers. Anyone witnessing damage caused by others should also let us know as soon as possible so the matter can be dealt with. Our continued use of the venues is compromised if damage is unreported. 11-11-2011 : Updated Draws and Finals Please note that several draws have been changed. Please check your draw to confirm game times. We try to email teams with changes, but some emails are being returned as undeliverable. Please ask your team to check the website each week to confirm their game times as part of their game preparation. All finals times are now included on the individual age group and division draws. 4-11-11 : FFA Numbers Any new players who wish to know their allocated FFA number should talk to the Officials at the Netball Centre. A list will be there with all numbers on it. 19-10-11 : Draws, Workloads and Asbestos Draws for all age groups have now been published and can be selected by clicking on age group names under DRAWS AND RESULTS on the right hand sidebar. Finals will be scheduled later. With the recent resignation of the registrar, the current committee (who are entirely volunteers and not paid) is working hard to have the competition running smoothly. Offers of assistance, especially anyone prepared to learn the registrar role, would be greatly appreciated. Until further notice from the ACT Government, the Fire Exit doors of the Netball Centre must remain closed due to the danger of asbestos exposure on the ovals nearby. Please do not open them or allow children to play around them. 10-08-2011 : Referees Courses Are you interested in refereeing this season? NCF will pay for you to participate in the referees course. Currently, we have PDF and DOC files published. All of these can be downloaded by all users but can only be viewed/printed by those who have Adobe Acrobat/Microsoft Word installed. DOWNLOADING: If clicking on the file name does not offer a SAVE option, click on the file name and select the "Save Target As" option. OPENING THE FILE FOR VIEWING OR PRINTING: The PDF files require the free "Adobe Reader" which can be downloaded for all operating systems from www.adobe.com. The DOC files require Microsoft (Office) Word or a compatible viewer software product.
