Important information that was covered

  • Match balls were handed out
    • If you were unable to attend, we will provide match balls to your team on arrival to round 1 matches. Talk to someone at the front desk on the day
  • Get players registered
    • Unregistered players will not be on match sheets, please manually amend the match sheet with the missing players 
  • A WWVP (working with vulnerable people) card is required by the coach or manager (preferably both) 
  • Each team is allowed, at most, 7 team officials 
    • This is inclusive of the coach and manager
    • E.g. Coach, manager and 5 spectators
    • E.g. Manager and 6 spectators.
    • Any extra persons from that team will need to be removed from the venue 
  • Teams that are short players on a particular day may borrow players

  • No more than one NPL1 player in a division 2 team

  • Referee’s will be wearing bright yellow shirts this season, teams with conflicting shirts will need to wear bibs
    • Referee fees are included in registration so no need for cash on the day
  • Respect Referees
    • Any issues with referees should be brought to a venue manager, Referee Coordinator or Referee Coach 
  • Match Sheets will need to be filled out by a representative from the home team
    • Ensure team officials from both teams have signed the match sheet
    • Referees will check the score is correct and then sign
    • Return match sheets to the front desk
  • Respect rules of the venues, one of the venues is a school
    • No smoking
    • No pets 
  • We have a hot weather policy to ensure the safety of players

  • First Aid officers will be available at Lyneham Netball Centre in the event of an emergency
    • All venue managers are equipped with first aid certificates
